A useful measurement allows you to compare, follow up, categorize or communicate risk. An isolated measurement can create false precision. Therefore, the report must record what was measured, where, in which axis, with which unit and within which scope.

Lipedema and TCSC thickness
For additional lipedema assessment, the system documents four subcutaneous cellular tissue thickness points: anterior thigh, anterior pretibial region, lateral leg and medial supramalleolar region. The reference cutoffs used by the automatic check come from Amato et al. in Phlebology: anterior thigh less than 17.9 mm, anterior pretibial region less than 11.7 mm, lateral leg less than 8.4 mm and medial supramalleolar region less than 7.0 mm.
Values equal to or above these points should be treated as findings for review, always together with body distribution, physical examination, biotype and clinical context; the tool does not replace clinical diagnosis or local guidelines.
